Clay Sculpture
A mountain is a place one can go to get a clear signal, and also a place to share your message far and wide (to “Go Tell It on the Mountain”).
For me these sculptures can stand for projected sound or for deep listening, they could be read as transmitters or receivers.
The title "Observer Station" is borrowed from a song by Jamaican dub artist Niney the Observer.
